Internal communications
CSUMB has an efficient system for distributing information to employees. Based on a tiered approach for action items and relevant information, the Employee Communications Working Group, in consultation with relevant Cabinet members, determine the channel and frequency of delivery. We welcome all submissions to Inside CSUMB, the Dashboard, and the events calendar. Inside CSUMB publishes every other Thursday. Submissions are due the Thursday before publication by 5 p.m.
Faculty and staff dashboards
Employees are welcome to request that events, news and announcements be featured on the faculty or staff dashboards. Four items can appear at a time under the Messages heading managed by Human Resources and the Office of the Provost. Six items can be displayed under the News column on the left side, managed by University Communications and the Office of the President.
Inside CSUMB
Employees are welcome to submit content to the official employee bi-weekly news and events email, Inside CSUMB.

Our news section highlights exceptional faculty, staff, students, and campus achievements. There is always a top featured news story and two to four sub-featured stories. If you are interested in including your story, please submit your story ideas to University Communications well in advance and indicate that you would like the story to be included in Inside CSUMB.
